Preparing for Irene

While my brother and Mom secured the yard, fussed over flashlights, and stocked up on bottled water, I had my own hurricane preparation plan.

Step 1: Make the dogs tired. Like, 3 days worth of tired.

Check.

Step 2: Buy a surplus of bully sticks and other long lasting chews, as well as a few cans of food in case Irene is a front for a zombie apocalypse (Kol, you know what I'm talking about).

Check.

Step 3: Take a few final pictures of Parker and Skye out in the sun, so I can remember what it looks like.

Clearly I'm taking Irene seriously.  Luckily, all my preparation has paid off, and the dogs are happy to lay around aaaallllll day.  I do hope all our blog friends stay safe and sound- we'll be taking roll call soon.

Ok, at least Skye is being lazy.  Sheesh.

  2. That last picture of Skye is just adorable. And, your preparations seem very similar to what I would be doing if I were in the path of a hurricane.

  7. And how did the planning pay off? We were empty nesters during the storm for the first time in a long time, which felt kind of eerie. But everybody survived just fine, and now we're back to perfect weather :)

  11. But, what if you just can't free up sufficient money for each month to speed the process up?

Hence, it can be said that Sally Mae financial loans can be appealing.
It served as a means to create customer loyalty.
