Yesterday I threw a bridal shower. It meant being away from Parker, Skye, and (current trainee) Brie for 12 hours! No worries, they weren't alone, but I think we were all ready for some fun times together today.
We started with an off leash walk at the reservoir with our pal Daphne, who spends 2 days each week with us doing dog stuff. Brie attempted swimming and decided it was not her cup of tea...

Ew. Wet. Eww eww eww! |
Then we dropped Daphne off at home, strapped a backpack on Skye- for the first time ever, to her incredible angst- and walked around downtown Newburyport. This time of year there is outdoor music and food carts all over the place, so it was a great chance to work on Brie's over-enthusiasm.

Before we left I had to take our traditional boardwalk photos- Brie helped with a few bloopers.

Thank you, Parker, for being normal. |

She makes blue look good. |

And, because I can't believe I've owned my dogs this long, here's a blast from the past!

Beautiful pictures! The shot of Brie coming out of the reservoir is priceless!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! I didn't know Boston terriers came in Mushroom brown!
ReplyDeleteI think the trip to Newburyport more than made up for the way too long momma gone time. You picked a great day too! Not super jungle hot and no rain. Not too many of those lately.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Well Parker and Skye haven't aged a day since you've gotten them! In fact, Skye looks younger by the year!
ReplyDeletedespite that shower you still had a super fun day
