Happy New Year!

A new year means 365 days of fun filled adventure with my furry friends.  This will be my first full year in the real world, and our first full year as a trio.  I can't wait to see how my misfits change as they become mature adult dogs.  Who knows, maybe I can finally teach Skye that 'paw' is not the same as 'flop around like a dying fish,' but I doubt it.  I'm not big on New Years Resolutions, because I figure if you were going to hit the gym 3 times a week you would have started way before January 1st.  I do, however, want to resolve to work hard for the next year.  I want the dog training program I started to be successful, and I don't want to burn out from the long hours and massive amounts of drool.

It was only fair for me to ask Parker and Skye what their New Years Resolutions are this year.

I want to look less like a sheep.

I want to learn how to hibernate.

Since they gave me nothing but sass, I decided it was time for some nice group pictures.  Outside.  In the snow.

Success!

Fail.

We were then joined by a stray dog, who arrived very abruptly.  Luckily, the dog lived nearby and we brought her home.  Her owners didn't realize she had run off, but were happy we didn't leave her in the woods.  She did give Parker a minor heart attack when she appeared right behind him, but he got over it with the help of hotdogs.

Happy New Year Everyone!!
