Happy Monday!

I just wanted to send a quick update on Skye- she's back!  After her eeeeevil twin appeared on Saturday, I decided to take a step back and ignore Satan's puppy for a little while.  On Sunday it was rainy and gross, and instead of going out for exercise, we stayed in and played training games. 

Parker and Skye know a whole bunch of obedience commands and tricks, so we started with those, and moved on to touch training.  Essentially the dogs learn to touch their nose to my hand, whether it is in the air, on the ground, between two chairs, etc.  They picked it up quickly and really enjoyed trying to catch up to my hand.  While Skye got antsy a few times that day, she was able to settle down with a deer antler and put that energy to good use.  Horray!

Plus, as an added bonus, I found some great pictures from the pre-Parker/Skye days while I was ignoring the psychoDog.  Those days, I had a lot more to worry about than a rambunctious pit bull...

Oh the memories.  And the scars.  But mostly the memories.  Baby tigers and leopard kisses will be my happy thought for this rainy Monday- what's yours?
