Thanks Ziggy!

In between shoveling the never ending piles of snow, making dinner, and keeping the wood stove stocked up, I wanted to take a minute and say a big huge thank you! to Dog Foster Mom and Ziggy the wild and crazy pit for featuring us on their blog this month!

I started blogging as a stress reliever while trying to settle Skye into her new life.  While that is still a struggle, I think I'm finally catching on to the concept of 'patience,' which had previously been as impossible to find as a unicorn.  Now I blog for a number of reasons, but most of them involve you!  I really enjoy getting feedback, finding new blogs, and generally being a part of a community of people who love their dogs as much as I do.  

I tried to tell Parker and Skye the big news, but they didn't seem to catch on to the excitement I was feeling.  This may be because they are slowly turning into bears, and spend a lot of their time trying to hibernate.  I'm guessing that has something to do with the insane amount of snow we've been getting.  So, since their only response was to snore, I'll dig up some old pictures that capture the emotions I want them to portray...

Yippie!! I'm overwhelmed with joy!

I save this toothy grin for times when I am truly happy.  Like now.

 Ok, well at least the human in this house is genuinely grateful.  Thanks again, Dog Foster Mom, your blog is the first one I check in my free time!  And don't tell Ziggy, but Skye has a thing for white boy pits that can't hear her ridiculous play barking.  They're a match made in heaven  PetSmart.
