Another Birthday Party & Saturday Pet Blogger Hop
We had another birthday party at work last week, but it definitely wasn't princess themed. Shadow, a boxer/pit mix, had a patriotic-themed party. It was a little odd, but after a quick pep-talk, Parker and Skye agreed to get dressed up. Parker, ever the serious one, assigned Skye the part of Miss America. He thought cameo was more appropriate for his tough demeanor.
I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how I felt about this theme. I'm not overly patriotic myself, but I think there's a big difference between dressing dogs up as princesses and as soldiers. However, the owner picks the theme, so my opinion really didn't matter. And hey, my dogs look cute in costume, what can I say?
